Since 1975 · 17,000+ Florida installations
Stop renting your power.
For fifty-plus years we have helped Florida homes and businesses buy their power outright.
Where do you want to start
Two ways to stop paying for power
For your home
Power, water and pool heating
Solar electric, solar water heating, and pool heating that runs on the Florida sun instead of your bill. You own the system, and it stays with the house.

For your business
Cut the bill you cannot negotiate
Dealerships, warehouses, storage, churches and municipal buildings. The only local company that designs, engineers and installs commercial solar end to end.

Renting energy has no last payment.
A power bill is rent. You pay it every month, it goes up every year, and at the end of thirty years you own nothing.
A solar system is the opposite. You buy it once, it pays you back every month it runs, and it is still yours, and still working, long after it has paid for itself.
Renting from the utility
- Payments never stop
- Rates rise roughly 3.5% a year
- You own nothing at the end
- No control over price
Owning your system
- One purchase, then it pays you
- Locks in your cost for decades
- Adds value to the property
- Transfers clean when you sell
Palm Coast · one neighborhood, many roofs
Our residential work
Real roofs, all nearby.
Commercial · time-limited
The 30% federal credit has a hard deadline.
Projects starting now must be placed in service by 31 December 2027 to claim the 30% Investment Tax Credit. Commercial solar takes months to design, permit and build, which makes the real deadline the contract, not the installation.
Stacked with one-year bonus depreciation, Florida's 100% sales tax exemption and property tax abatement, a system can return most of its cost long before it stops producing.

Featured project · Palm Coast
Two new fire stations, running on sunshine.
When Palm Coast built Fire Stations 22 and 26, the city Solar-Fitted them: roughly 180 kW of panels on each roof, installed in about six weeks per building, projected to generate more than 250,000 kWh a year per station.
“Palm Coast is leading the way for other municipalities to model regarding renewable energy utilization.”

Own your power
The most expensive thing you will never own.
Drag to your monthly bill and watch what renting power actually costs from here, with the yearly increases you do not control built in.
Ten years from now that money is simply gone. The same dollars put into a system you own are still there: on your roof, still working, and adding to what the house is worth.
“Money in a CD earns two or three percent, and you pay taxes on it. Put it on your roof and it earns eight to ten, tax-free. Every time the utility raises rates, your return goes up. The utility ends up buying the system for you. What’s not to love?”

★★★★★
Had Solar Fit install pool solar panels and a solar panel for hot water in 1999, two years after we had our house built in Deltona. Two weeks ago one of the pool panels on the roof was leaking. Called Bill Gallagher, who sold me the system 21 years ago, and he had two awesome workers at my home the next day to do repairs at no charge. Totally surprised they have a lifetime warranty. Great and honest company.
★★★★★
Since I built a new home in Florida in 2004, I have relied on Solar Fit for all things solar. In 2012 I built another new home and of course hired Solar Fit to install their equipment.
★★★★★
Was a little nervous about installing solar, but Solar-Fit was sensational from start to finish. From design, approval, explanation, and installation, they are amazing. Great customer service and wonderful product. I can’t say enough good things.
★★★★★
The Solar Fit technician was on time and found the leaks in our solar pool heating system without any issues. He was courteous and professional. I have been doing business with Solar Fit for several years and they have always provided expert service. They are the best.
